Windows 10: coprocessor is gone....completely. cannot update windows.

Discus and support coprocessor is gone....completely. cannot update windows. in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; My Compaq Presario CQ50-210US had a problem with the coprocessor.     coprocessor is gone....completely. cannot update windows.


    My Compaq Presario CQ50-210US had a problem with the coprocessor. I tried to update the drivers for it and it disappeared from my "other devices" slot. I have researched this online but have not found any answers. Now my Windows updates don't work. It took me forever just to get back online. Will a reset or a clean install bring my laptop back to status quo? Is there ANYONE that can tell me how to fix my problem?????? I'm dying here!!!!!!

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
