    HELP! copy from web page..try to paste..paste greyed out

    can cut and copy and paste from file to file but when I copy text off a web page....open a file..right click in empty spot in file to paste but paste option is greyed out. I can copy text off web and paste to notepad or email but not to a new folder. Also,
    cant copy from notepad to new folder. paste option greyed out.

    am I just trying to paste in the wrong place? created a new folder on desktop to paste music notes from web. I used to be able to do this with windows 7.

    copying and pasting images from the web in Windows 10

    I have an issue pasting images from the web. Generally I'm copy and pasting from chrome into word, but I've tried other browsers as well, including Edge and IE. I've also attempted to copy and paste images into paint, but to no effect.

    When I reboot it works for a time then stops working. It won't work until I restart the computer again. This is major time suck, as I often need to copy and paste images from the web.

    I'm running windows 10 and using Word 2016.

    Any suggestions? Fixes?

    Copy and paste not working

    Hello,

    • Does the issue occur only with the particular website or all?
    • Did you try copy pasting in other apps or notepad?
    There are many websites which doesn't let us copy paste the information, please cross check with other websites first. Normally, copy pasting option is still available in Windows 10.
