Meanwhile I would Suggest you to check for any pending updates available and try to install it and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

Press Windows +I and select Updates and security
and check if any pending updates are available.

I would suggest you to follow the steps below to check the issue occurs in safe mode if not perform a clean boot please follow the steps below :

Step 1: Safe mode

Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. It can help you troubleshoot problems on your PC. For example, if the problem doesn't happen in safe mode, you'll know default settings and basic device drivers
aren't causing the issue.

Step 2: Clean boot

I would also suggest you to do a clean boot and check if any third party apps are causing the issue.
Placing the computer in a clean boot state can reduce software conflicts and help identify the root cause of the issue.

Copy of what, files, text ?

 

Any files. Windows has always had a copy progress dialogue box and win 10 had a really good one but it isn't there any more in my setup.

 

Are you talking about this:

 

Guess what. . .that's right it is still there, just click on the down arrow on the far left end of the move, copy box and it just appears. . .cool. . .*Smile

 

Thanks, Lee, but this is now the second 3rd party incompatibility I have found with 10074. The copy progress box does still indeed pop up if you copy with Windows Explorer but it now fails to show with explorer2 Lite which I use all the time. Darn.

Just as well I am not prone to conspiracy theories or I could see a pattern here!!

Edit:- it's a no show on Q-Dir as well. Conspiracy theory deepens!

 

How to set up that I will see path of copy? Like from c:\downloads to d:\down, for example?
