Windows 10: Copy Trans Manager Drivers for apple device support AND system restore

Just installed this which I had on windows 7. I think it was this that slowed Win10 to a crawl. Black desktop, no task bar etc. Only way out was task manager to restart.

Then found that windows 10 is not creating restore points for installation of apps even though it seems top be turned on. Anyone know about this?

Or maybe it is skype....?

System restore

This error code normally means an issue with your drivers.

Get into safe mode.

Then try these steps.

Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.

Look for any devices that have a yellow exclamation.

Select Search automatically for updated driver software and follow the on-screen instructions to update the drivers.

If no updates were found, then right-click on the mouse select Uninstall.

Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

And if none of the above works then best to go to the vendors site and download the latest drivers for your device.

So for example, if your computer is a Dell Latitude then you would go here.

Make sure to download the drivers for the system type of your machine.

To find this out go search and type system.

Look for the system type.

It will either be 32bit or 64bit.

Hi DSJ, your Display Driver will need rolling back . . . Windows Update has lately been installing incorrect display drivers . . .

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Display Adapters Section

Right click your graphics card, choose properties

On the Driver Tab, click 'Roll back Driver'

Close Device Manager and restart your system

If there is no roll back available or that does not work, go to the Support page of the manufacturer of your PC/Laptop

Download the Device Driver they recommend for your Display Adapter/GPU and install that version, until Microsoft come out with a fix . . .

I would move away from System Restore, there's a lot of data it's not going to back up. You're better off with a snapshot tool like Comodo Time Machine, AX64, or Rollback Rx.
