Windows 10: Core Isolation Blocked by Incompatible WIDCOMM Driver

Running Windows 11 on HP Omen 17, all updates current. Just noticed an Memory Integrity error flag in Security due to driver incompatibilities. Offending driver is:frmupgr.sysWIDCOMMImport date: 10/26/2021Driver date: 5/7/2007Driver version: 6.1.0.1000Published name: oem8.infSearch on driver name indicates a flash upgrade driver related to Bluetooth. There are prior Community posts on this driver for Windows 10 systems.How do I resolve this and why is this old driver causing a security problem now?Thanks!

My Core isolation can't be activated because of incompatible driver called ctaud2k.sys. from Creative Technology.

Click on the ctaud2k.sys on the memory integrity incompatibility list and it will give you the oemxx.inf.

Then delete oemxx.inf from the computer's internal driver store.

Core Isolation was disabled, due to Western Digital drivers, and HuaWei drivers, including the star of our show, ew_usbccgpfilter.sys!

Go to Privacy and Security, in Core Isolation, open Core Isolation Details, run the scan, on the report, expand all together, and screenshot it, so you've got your "hit list".

The WD drivers and all the other HW drivers were deleted in Device Manager, .view . devices by driver, go down to the target, give it the big D!

Now for the exception: ew_~.sys is not locatable in Device driver. I tried sending Windows Search out for it, but even most of an hour came back as a failure - no data.

I searched about the internet, got some ideas to look in various "driver* " locations, and voila! I found the bugger in Windows > System32> drivers.

Deletion was easy, then went back to Privacy & Security, enabled core isolation, and rebooted.

I wish this had never happened. I wasted three hours on the result of corporate negligence.
