    A couple months ago, my Corel VideoStudio X10 stopped opening. I upgraded to Corel Video Studio 2018 and it has the same issue. I have had a ticket open with Corel for several weeks now with updates saying it has been referred to their engineering for a known issue but no estimate for fix. I noticed it was crashing each time I tried to to open it, and sent them the dump but still no fix. Anyone else having this issue and know if there is perhaps a Windows setting or fix that is available?

    VideoStudio X10 keeps freezing up while trying to create a menu

    I was able to burn a dvd a few months ago, but now my VideoStudio X10 keeps freezing while I am trying to open the menu tab.

    The only way to close it is by using Task Manager.

    A Corel message board said it is from a Windows 10 update.

    I am running on a HP Envy 700 PC with an Intel Core i7 processor with 12gb of RAM.

    This happened out of the blue so I can't argue with that explanation.

    I do however need a fix for this problem. Help!

    VideoStudio X10 keeps freezing up while trying to create a menu

    I am not a big fan of System Restore in these kind of situations as this is not a permanent solution. But if working of VideoStudio is X10 is mission critical to you, try restoring the system to a point when things were fine for you.

    Videostudio Ultimate 2018 will not open since Windows 10 Update

    I have tech help from Corel Videostudio uninstalling Ultimate 2018 and reinstalling while cleaning up temp files etc.

    and my Videostudio WILL STILL NOT OPEN. It has to do with Windows 10 updates.

    Something MUST be done. Please help.
