Windows 10: Corrupted Windows

So my original drive with windows on it got corrupted somehow, I think something to do with the recent batch of windows updates. I think this is the cause because it's only windows that isn't working on that drive, I've made a backup of it, and used a USB to SATA adapter and I can still see all of my old files are there.
So, I ended up pulling that drive (it's a 1TB hybrid drive from Seagate) and replacing it with a 500GB SSD There's about 390gb used on that 1tb drive, so in theory I should be able to fit the contents of the Hybrid drive onto the SSD.

Before I pulled the hybrid out, I was able to use Acronis to make a backup of it onto a 4TB HDD I use as my archive drive. I also have a USB to SATA adapter I could use.
Is there any way I can move all of the data (including windows settings, accounts, my windows liscense) over from either the backup or the drive itself via the USB to SATA cable? I've tried restoring windows via that backup (using Acronis) and it brought the corrupted version of windows with it as well when it rebooted, bringing me back to square one.


(The corrupted Windows has issues booting, as well as accessing menus, and the Audio Service just outright refuses to run, I tried troubleshooting just the audio issue about a week or so ago, but to no avail.)
I have access to the free Acronis that Crucial offers with their SSDs, not the full suite.

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

 

Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:

• Open WinRAR application in your system.
• Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
• A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
• Now click Open button.
• Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
• Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
• Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
• Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
• WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.

I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
