Windows 10: Cortana cuts off dictation after a few words

Discus and support Cortana cuts off dictation after a few words in Cortana to solve the problem; I am trying to use cortana to write emails and such but every time I open her up and use the dictation method it's only letting me speak for about 10...     Cortana cuts off dictation after a few words


    I am trying to use cortana to write emails and such but every time I open her up and use the dictation method it's only letting me speak for about 10 seconds or less before it stops listening and dictating, I set up the voice recognition and I have cortana enabled and she hears me when I ask her questions or to do things, but the dictation just cuts off without me telling it to stop, I speak pretty clearly, I'm not taking long pauses, all other speech recognition technology understands me.

    How to dictate text into Word using Windows 10

    How do you dictate to Word 2016. I have Cortana, but don`t know how to hook it up with Word. I ask Cortana and get sent in circles. Getting ready to throw Cortana out the window. I am not tech savvy and need step by step instructions.
