Windows 10: Cortana keeps showing my account is suspended yet I can log into Microsoft?

I am completely a fish out of water setting up the new HP Notebook I just purchased. Took me 3 days just to try and connect to my Wifi if that's any indication of my lack of tech knowledge. Struggling thru setting up Windows 10 but its a work in progress.


When I bring up the Cortana menu, it keeps telling me my account is suspended yet I can obviously log into Microsoft? Or does it mean my Windows account is suspended and if so, how do I fix that?


Also, my social media such as Facebook, Instagram, etc are in the tray at the bottom, how do I make them desk top icons and not have to keep logging in every time I open them?

Task manager showing suspended processes for cortana

That's perfectly normal. Windows will suspend processes to the swapfile.sys and only keep the essential code for the process in memory, when idle for a specific time. It all gets pulled back to the Working Memory for the process when needed. Just Windows memory management. You may have 32-64GB of memory, and it will still do this. I have lots of suspended, also. Note one of them is Search UI>Cortana.

I am receiving the same message. I am logged in and yet cannot use Cortana because it thinks my singular account is suspended. I have this one account. I have updated settings and software. I am logged in. What is the issue and why can I Not use the built
in Cortana.?

There are few application showing suspended in my window 10. For eg Edge, Cortana, Windows Shell Experience Host etc.

Please suggest.
