Windows 10: Cortana on Win 10 and Invoke both repond to a prompt. I need the PC to not respond

When I connected my Invoke to my Windows 10 PC, and then I attempt to access it, they both respond. How do I get one or the other to be quiet? There is no microphone on the PC, so the Invoke is passing the question to the PC, and both attempt to respond, though they respond differently, so it would appear that they are both working independently.

1. When you say "Cortana responding to both PC and Invoke", are you referring to
   Harman Kardon Invoke which responds to Cortana?
2. Are you aware of any changes made to this computer prior to the issue?

Wayne, you cannot use a single Cortana command to invoke both computers unless both the computers are near to you and can hear you. If you want to invoke a single computer using Cortana when both the computers are near you, then you need to train Cortana
with a different voice for each computer.

Cannot Invoke Cortana


There is an option when installing Win 10 to use Cortana or not. I'm wondering if you (or the installer) chose not to?

- suggests you didn't enter the command correctly.

Please post a screenshot of what you attempted.

Windows key + S should launch Cortana if enabled and functional.

Have Invoke play music that is currently playing on my PC

Thank you for posting your concern on Microsoft Community Forums.

Try to uninstalling and reinstalling the Cortana Device Setup app and check if you're able to complete the setup. Invoke Works with select music services, paid subscriptions may be required. I suggest you to try reset Invoke, follow
the below steps, and check if that helps.

1. Attach Power Cable
   
2. Press and Hold the Mic Mute Button until Cortana Says, “Ready for setup.”
   

Note: the Invoke will not function until properly set up and linked to a Microsoft account.
