    Cortana problems after 1803 -> 1903 upgrade


    Hello!


    I use the search function to launch programs *a lot*. Until today that was the same Start menu icon as Cortana. Now there are separate menu items. I've accidentally been clicking Cortana, *a lot*, and everytime it yells at me to set it up. I'm not going to do that. I've searched for ways to disable Cortana but all answers suggest using the "Stop Getting to Know Me" button that seems to no longer exist.


    Does anyone have experience turning off Cortana (or just its speech) after 1903?

    Win 10 1803 to 1903 update

    My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1903 a while back, but my Desktop running Win 10 version 1803

    I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1903 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

    Any thoughts, suggestions?

    I cannot get my Windows 10 desktop to install feature upgrade version 1903. I'm stuck on 1803 and can't find a way to upgrade to 1903.

    Not listed in the Known.

    Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


    As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


    I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

    Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.
