    Could there be a way to change from 32 bit to 64 easisly?


    Will there every be an EASY way to go from 32bit to 64 bit. I have a 64 bit prossesor but a 32 bit version of windows and if i ever want to upgrade i'd have to backup all my files and perform a clean install of windows which is inconvienient. would it even be possible to make the change from 32 bit to 64 bit easier? Are there technical reasons as to why we have to perfom a clean install if we wanna make the switch?

    My tablet Processor supports 64 bit but the kernel doesn't, it's 32 bit. Is there a way to change to kernel 64 bit?

    Change kernel 32 bit to 64 bit

    No, there is no way to change the "bitness" of any version of Windows from 32-bit to 64-bit, or vice-versa. The only way to get there is by doing a clean installation.

    32-bit to 64-bit

    No, you can not. It is not possible to change the "bitness" of any version of Windows from 32-bit to 64-bit, or vice versa. The only way for you to get from 32-bit to 64-bit is by doing a clean installation, nor by upgrading.

    And that is only possible if your computer has a 64-bit processor. Does it?
