    Hi all

I was wondering if there is a list of CPUs supported by Win 10? I am currently running two desktops one with a Dual Core Pentium @ 2ghz and a Core Duo E8400 @ 3 Ghz. They both run Win 8.1 fine but was wondering if 10 will support them. I know min requirements are 1 Ghz CPU but there has also been mention of some CPUs not being supported.

  2. CPU not Supported

The Reservation App indicates I have incompatible hardware (ie. CPU, Bluetooth, Video Card, Printer) and/or software, what should I do?

You can check the software developer and hardware vendor for the latest updates before performing the upgrade.

UPDATE: Please review the following article by Barb Bowman (Microsoft
MVP) for solutions to this problem.

Is my graphics display or Bluetooth device compatible with Windows
10? The readiness report showed it was not.

Microsoft's compatibility database is continually being updated with new data. What you can do is periodically run another scan to see if the database has updated information about your hardware. Even though you might get this message, you can always run
Windows Update after installing Windows 10 and download the latest driver too.

    CPU not Supported

So I have this brand almost new computer with Windows 8.1 and even have the little icon that says reserve my copy of Windows 10 now. Then when I try to do so it says my CPU is not supported and I can't go any further. Don't tell me my CPU is not supported
as I know it is (Intel I5) and don't try to tell me to uninstall and reinstall the patches as I have done that already. Don't even try to tell me the power setting are showing that it is too low as they are set for performance and show 2.7 which is well above
the limit (by 2.7 times). Let me see a real answer that involves actually fixing the application that shows this error that will work prior to July 29. I'm tired of seeing posts that say ignore it. That's fine and dandy but if we ignore it there is no option
to reserve it and no guarantee we can upgrade then. In fact we have good reason to believe otherwise as it says right there we cannot because our CPU is not supported. I've tried all of the suggestions found here. Don't reply if your going to tell me to uninstall
and reinstall patches or to run the command line to get it to check my system again (which appears to do nothing btw). Only reply if you can offer a solution that will involve fixing the erroneous message in the first place. (HP 15-r110dx purchased new 4 months

I have the latest on an Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 @2.20GHz, an older Dell Inspiron 530S Desktop that originally came with Vista.

I have the same E4500 CPU and on clicking the W10 ikon on my startbar it tells me My CPU is not supported, this CPU is well in excess of the published specs for W10 So I am wondering if this is accurate
Can you tell me if the message unsupported CPU is a glitch or is it likely to be accurate?

    Thanks, Boyd ()
