  1. Create Completely Separate User

I want to create a new separate account that does NOT share any files, apps, or anything with the first account. Is there a way to partition my drives in such a way? I want to have a fresh install of steam and use separate files from my main user so when I use mods for games both accounts won't get banned. Any help?

Creating to completely separate users in Windows 10 Pro

    Hello,

Is there a way to create to completely separate users in Windows 10 Pro? Or what would be the closest to this, in terms of sharing the least amount of things, for example the apps installed, files stored, etc?

    Thanks

    Diego

  3. Creating to completely separate users in Windows 10 Pro

    Hi Diego,

It is possible to create multiple user profiles in Windows 10 Pro. For us to provide better assistance, we would need to verify the following:

    • Are you trying to create another user profile with the same capability as with your current user profile (Administrator access)?
    • Do you want to share the files and programs that are available on your current user profile to the user profile you'll be creating?

We are looking forward to your response.

    Create Completely Separate User

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Create Completely Separate User :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
