Windows 10: Credit cards dont work on my pc

This has been happening forever now and I'm suspecting its just Microsofts fault and being garbage like it always is. I try literally so many different credit cards multiple times and they always get denied on my computer. Literally anywhere else I use them it works fine. This time my brother wanted to buy me Minecraft for windows so we could play together but it kept getting denied on my computer, we even tried going as far to gift it to my account through his own but that didn't work either. So something is either wrong with my account or windows sucks, and its probably both. F you microsoft

Credit Card Problem

You are old school as you can just as easily activate a credit card online. Of course they'll be security measures in place to make sure you are you *Wink

• Example: Activate your Bank of America credit card online (Bank of America)

And no, you don't "have to go online" to activate.

 

Deleting a credit card

If you are unable to remove the credit cards you've listed under Payments & Billing, try updating your payment method by following the steps indicated on this

credit card details already exist

Two things you can do.

• Visit commerce.microsoft.com and then head over to the billing section. Remove any credit card details that may exist and make the card section completely empty. Then head to windowsphone.com and then try to buy the app and it will prompt you to enter fresh
  credit card details.
• If the previous step did not work, don't waste time on online research or forums as this is a billing/account related issue. Straight away, head over to gethelp.live.com, start a chat with a billing person and they will take care of this.
