Hi Jen,

i've got this problem on a Surface and can't do anything really. Any suggestions?

this is two months old and came with Win 10.

Exact message is 'Critical Error'

'Start menu and Cortana aren't working. We'll try to fix it the next time you sign in.'

Sign out now

Recycle Bin icon works as does Kaspersky but anything else is just the spinning circle and if you touch or click the start menu the screen refreshes to the same critical message.
