    Hi all,

    I usually use my PC for gaming, and have today had 3-4 different full crashes. These crashes cause a flickering grey screen and audio looping. Immediately after the first crash I have been observing CPU and GPU temperatures to make sure it isn't an overheating issue.

    I'm really not sure what to do, I'm concerned my GPU is failing, as I cannot seem to find any issues with my monitor or cables. I'm in the process of updating drivers to see if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?
    • What is the exact error message you received?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    1. What is the make and model of the computer?

    I suggest you to try the steps listed in
    troubleshoot blue screen errors
    and check if it works.

    Meanwhile you may also go through:

    1. troubleshoot CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION
    2. troubleshoot CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
    3. troubleshoot SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

    I do appreciate your efforts and time.

    I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

    I would suggest you to follow the steps:

    • Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
    • Click File > Run New Task.
    • Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”.
    • Type CMD.
    • Type the following commands at the CMD prompt:

      powershell

      Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
    • Close the CMD window.
    • Check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, restart the PC.
    Also refer to the suggestions provided by Ravinath and check.

    “Critical Error – Start menu and Cortana aren’t working. We’ll try to fix it the next time you sign in.”
