    Critical Process Died (Attempting to Repair and Diagnostic Loop)


    Recently I went to turn on my PC and when booting it gave me a BSOD saying that the problem was "Critical Process Died" on startup. Naturally i went online to try and find some solutions, and stumbled across a few but none of them have worked so far.


    What I have tried so far are the following:


    Tried using cmd and the whole \windows\system32\config thing creating a backup and what not and in every video ive seen or post I've looked at they all mention that when you go into regback directory and it shows "0" next to the files that you must stop there and it wont work and it hasn't worked (I tried anyway).


    I have also tried the sfc /scannow command or whatever it's supposed to be and it makes it through the entire sequence 100% and right at the end when it's done it says "Could not carry out this request" and fails


    System restore is another thing I have tried, but whenever i go and slect which restore point I want to go back to the next screen gives me an error message saying something along the lines of "You need to restore something that includes windows" and also something along the lines of "You can't restore to this point because it is unprotected" and i've searched and searched for a way to protect the drive through cmd but there isnt a way that I can find.


    I have tried booting in safe mode also but that just sends me back into the loop again with no help. And also even if I try to rest the PC (Removing ALL files or trying to keep some files) that fails as well.


    Maybe there is something I am doing wrong? Something I could be missing?


    NOTE: I cannot even get to any sort of desktop or have access to start menu or anything. All i have access to is windows Advanced Option menu.


    Any help is appreciated. I've been searching for hours with no success.

    Critical process died BSoD loop

    My alienware 17 R3 laptop apparently forced restart to update windows 10 earlier in the day and after the update finished it literally won't start up and is now stuck in Critical process died BSoD loop without me being able to enter safe mode.

    Any attempt to entering safe mode results in another Critical process died blue screen and I've tried EVERYTHING that the net lists as a solution.

    Tried going back to previous version of windows and it list an error, tried restoring from a previous point and it doesn't show up at all. Hell I tried a complete reset of the laptop and it gave me an error and said it cannot complete the process for god
    knows what reason.

    This happened once on my older alienware 17 r3 and I had to get a replacement entirely due to the vendors not being able to decipher the root cause of the problem but one thing is for damn sure, everytime a windows 10 update happens my laptop potentially
    gets killed off...

    Seriously, any suggestions? This is pretty frigging infuriating.

    Critical Process Died Loop

    Whenever I try starting up my main computer, I'm never able to make it to the user sign in page. I always get a "Critical Process Died" error. I also can't do any repair settings because I need to sign into my administrative account, which doesn't pop up
    on the list.

    Any help?
