    Critical Startup Failure


    I woke up today, and when I turned on my PC, I'm greeted by Stop Code: Critical Process Died with Error Code 0xc0000001. However, when I tried to attempt some of the fixes on the forum, the Error Code changes to 0xc0000098. I have attempted to get my PC to launch into automatic repair, and following the steps of turning the PC on holding the power button for 5-10 seconds when I see a sign of life from windows 3 times, I get back to the same screen I was at before. That screen giving me a few options of things to do: 1. Press Enter to try again 2. Press F1 to enter Recovery En

    Startup Menu Critical Failure

    I have a new system running Win 10 and am continually getting the "Startup Menu Critical Failure" notice and have not been successful fixing it with any of the posted workarounds. Microsoft, when are you going to send a patch that fixes this? All, has
    anyone found a workaround that works? I am frustrated with Microsoft, to say the least. Need help.

    Windows 10 reset failures. Computer won't boot now and getting frustrated.

    To help you with your concern regarding the reset failure, let me suggest you to do a startup repair. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key
    • Hold Shift key then click Restart
    • You'll be prompted to the Advance Startup Options
    • Select Troubleshoot
    • Advanced options
    • Startup repair
