    a) Are your files backed up?
    b) Had you created an image of the drive?
    c) How old is the drive?
    d) What history is there of drive problems?
    e) How many drives are there?
    f) Are they SSD/HD?
    g) Are you using hardware or software RAID
    h) Are you over clocking?
    i) When was the last time the drive was tested with SMART, or generic testing?
    j) Were there any recent hardware or software changes?
    k) If you needed to would you be able to format the drive?

Power on the computer and as soon as you see the Microsoft icon power off the computer.
Power on the computer a second time and as soon as you see the Microsoft icon power off the computer.
    Repeat this one more time.
This should take you to the windows recovery or advanced troubleshooting options.
If it does or does not report this information into the thread.
If you are able to get into the windows advanced troubleshooting menu attempt a reset with save files.

If you were not able to get into the Windows recovery or advanced troubleshooting options proceed to the next steps:

    1) find a flash drive that you can format
    2) create a bootable Windows 10 iso: Download Windows 10
    3) power on to the bios and change the boot order so that you can boot to the USB flash drive
    4) power on and boot to the Windows 10 iso
    5) It may take 5 minutes of viewing the Windows icon for it to load
    6) choose language, time, currency, and keyboard
    7) do not click install
    8) look in the lower left and click on repair your computer
    9) click troubleshooting
    10) click restore and look for a restore point that predates the computer problems
    11) if restore fails proceed to the next step
    12) click startup repair
    13) if startup repair fails proceed to the next step
    14) click command prompt so that it opens Adminstrator X: \Windows\system32\cmd.exe
    15) type C:
    16) type sfc /scannow
    17) type chkdsk
report the scannow and chkdsk results into the thread
    18) if the above steps fail report this into the thread and other steps can be performed

    There are no restore points

    12) click startup repair

    16) type sfc /scannow

  9. I've given up at this point and just reinstalled windows 10. copied all my files from windows.old back to the main directory. if it breaks again I'm just gonna buy windows 7.... I never liked windows 10 anyway XD.

Solution: Throw your PC in the bin or just purchase a new os/reinstall windows 10
