Windows 10: CTRL Key being triggered without the physical key being pressed

Randomly my computer will act like my CTRL button is being held down and unless I press CTRL and ESC it doesnt FIX itself sometimes this doesn't work and I have to reboot. I have tried swapping keyboards and I have all the USELESS STICKY KEY functions disable for good reason. I game regularly and ever since a recent update this GLITCH has been happening randomly. Please advise on a fix so that I don't have to jump through hoops to use MY machine.

My ctrl key is pressed forever (not physically)

I need help. My ctrl is just stuck being pressed infinitly, even though im not pressing it irl or either broken, its just that the computer thinks it is. I have searched everywhere and nothing works, i have tried fn + num lock and fn + ctrl but it doesnt
work.

PS: Only the ctrl key is stuck, NO other keys are bugged.

PSS: I will not “your keyboard or computer is broken” answers.

 

Ctrl key on German QWERTZ keyboard?

Just tried the STRG key and yes thats the Ctrl key! *Stick Out Tongue
Did not try that before since I was not familiar with these keys.

Both CTRL keys not working

• Did you make any changes in your computer prior to this issue?

Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

Method 1: To check if Ctrl keys work in Onscreen keyboard.

• Press Windows Key + R and type osk and hit Enter.

Try using Ctrl keys and check if that helps.

if you still face the issue, try Method 2.

Method 2: Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key + X, select
  Control panel.

  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
