Over the past several months, Windows Update has tried to install three Win 10 Cumulative Updates on my PC, all of which have failed to install with error code 0x800f0845.

    2019-07 KB45006991, 2019-09 KB4515384 and 2019-10 KB4517389 failed to install

    2019-08 KB4512508 successfully installed.

After installing each update, when the system rebooted, I logged on fine, but after a few minutes got a BSOD “Your PC ran into problem …collecting info)” after which it reboots and system displays another similar BSOD, reboots and displays another BSOD displaying automatic repair, attempts repair, reboots again displays Auto Repair Screen asking to select Restart or Advanced Options (I selected Restart). Restarted OS and displayed another BSOD …”We couldn’t complete update …Undoing change Do not turnoff your PC”. Reboots and logon screen displays. I successfully logged on.

Ran DISM to check and fix the WIN 10 OS build. No errors. Ran Windows Update Troubleshooter..no errors. Do these WIN 10 Cumulative Updates build on each other or can I try to go back and try to reinstall the earlier updates and move forward if they install successfully? What else should I do?

Thanks in advance for your help

Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.
