Windows 10: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems KB4537762

Hello,

My laptop is less than a year old and it started automatically updating the new version of Windows. Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems KB4537762 has been taking two days to update. It will reach 25% installation quite slowly then shoot up to a direct 100 and then begin initializing all over again.
Why does this happen? All my other updates are okay. My entire lap is lagging and has been acting weird since the update.
Please help me out.

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.
