USB Ports not working after Windows 10 update

Another windows unfortunality --

the history does not go back to October's update, but this is the last cumulative update that was applied to my system in December:

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3205383)

It was the same type of update in October that slightly corrupted my system, caused errors for many days until the new update came out. I believe that update was October 15th ish. After that update, the USB ports did not work. Before that update, the ports
worked fine. I have USB 1.0.

OS Build number

It's a typo in HTG article. They meant to type 10586.29, as you can see in their article screenshot. (10576 is

insider preview build). And, as Jim said, the latest build is 10586.420 as of June Cumulative Update. You can keep track of the Windows 10 builds via
