    What version are you, at "START, Settings, System, About"? I think you are Win 10, OS Build 10240, judging by that top stuck update you posted....

    (1) Why have you never upgraded to 1511, 1607, or 1703?

    (2) Have you ever made a system image backup, at (I hope)...?...

    "START, Settings, Update & Security, Backup, Go to Backup & Restore (Windows 7)", or

    "R-Clk START, Control Panel, Backup & Restore (Windows 7)"

    (3) Better separately backup all your important files & downloads to external media.

    (4) Try steps 1, 3, & 4 in Andre's post, or review them & ask further questions.

    (5) If that fails, we must consider steps 2 & 5 - but those will upgrade you to Win 10, v.1703.

    And we must you hijacker in mind too. I wish Malwarebytes had gotten rid of it.

    Windows Update doesn't work on newly bought Windows CD

    Update doesn't work, bought a Windows CD from Amazon, installed it yesterday (27/05/2017)

    Those updates to not work:

    • 2017-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB4019474)
    • NVIDIA - Display - 12/29/2016 12:00:00 AM - 21.21.13.7653

    Did I buy a legit version? If not, what can I do now?
