    today on 15th june .... i installed cumulative update 2020 but it have problem....my laptop takes more times than usual after installing the update....seems like it is corrupted by malware or anything.....i got sure that its update problem because i uninstall this update and my laptop runs smoothly...so users if anyone of you face any problem like this ...remember to uninstall update KB4565503 and let microsoft know about the problem.

    Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

    V 10.0 build 10240

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve the issue.



    I suggest you to uninstall the Cumulative update and check if it helps.

    Follow the steps below.


    • Go to control panel, then click on
      Programs and Features.

    • Tap on View installed updates, then find the update.

    • Right click on the update and uninstall the update.

    And also you can temporarily disable the
    Cumulative update.

    cumulative update problem

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
