The cumulative update for Windows 10 20H2 is here but have the same KB number has Windows 10 2004 just like with Windows 10 1903 & Windows 10 1909.

Cumulative updates - May 12th 2020

none of the steps mentioned above in your solving methods have worked to solve my issue with Cumulative update - May 2020. I am running windows 10 pro x64 base system version 1909 . I had all other cumulative updates installed successfully except this one
of May 2020 (KB4556799) - Error 0x800f0900. For the last 2 weeks I have followed most of the methods published to solve the May 2020 cumulative update issue but did not work at all!!!

I am puzzled with what happened to have this issue soooo complicated to be solved! And who's fault is it, because my computer windows update system worked perfectly with all other cumulative updates then suddenly stopped working for this specific update.
Why Microsoft windows is unable solving this issue automatically ? I appreciate if you have other method that stops this issue.

Cumulative Update October 2020 Error 0x800f0988 (KB4579311)

Hi there, i got stuck when i'm tried to installing the cumulative update october 2020 (KB4579311).

It says error 0x800f0988 on the windows update.

I already tried any solutions to fix this, like deleting the update file at Windows/SoftwareDistribution/Download and try again the download update but it doesn't work, sfc/scannow doesnt't work too, restarting the windows update service at the services
doesn't work too. I've tried to fix this on the windows update troubleshooter, but the windows troubleshooter can't detect the problem at all.

anyway, my windows version is Windows 10 Home build 2004, 64bit

So, is there a way to fix this problem? i've tried for a week to fix this problem.
