Windows 10: Cursor freezes and/or jumps around erratically

Ever since I downloaded the most recent Microsoft upgrade in Sept or Oct 2019, my cursor using my touchpad freezes all the time and/or jumps around closing tabs and opening tabs. I have tried every "fix" suggestion online that I could find but nothing has helped. Please help! I am using a Dell Inspiron laptop and solely use the touchpad. I use Windows 10. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Dell Inspiron N5110 touchpad and cursor erratic

Hi, I am Junaid Qadir. I am facing a problem, When I start my Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop its cursor is a smooth and fine touchpad. For a time being its cursor moves erratic and jumps from one place to other places,
and finally, stop works. I am using window 8.1 pro with full updates. As I searched on internet lot of peoples suggested that updates BIOS, But actually I don't wanna update BIOS. Please suggest me some best methods. thanks

• Did you make any changes to the computer prior to the issue?
• Are you experiencing this issue every time you type to a certain app or to all of the apps/programs?
• Any troubleshooting steps you've tried so far?

Cursor jumps

I did a factory reset on my computer and am using an entirely different, wired mouse and the cursor is STILL jumping to the top left.

Any suggestions what it could be? Or what to do now? Thank you.
