    Cursor is jumpy

Why does my cursor erroneously move around AND highlight full sentences AND/OR paragraphs AND then delete them if I hit the spacebar (at least I THINK that's when it happens) when I am typing? Very annoying. I will be typing and look up only to see that I'm typing wherever the cursor decided to jump to causing my message to be a jumbled mess. Now, as I type in Microsoft's software (Bing and Edge), the problem rarely happens(but it is happening a little). I use Chrome as my browser. Is this Microsoft's way of sabotaging all that isn't Windows?? Please tell me how to make it stop. It shouldn't take 5 minutes to type a one or two sentence comment on Facebook.

    :)

  3. Jumpiness with cursor and software responses after Windows 10 upgrade

I have upgraded to Win 10 on a Lenovo G580 laptop and wondering how to stop the random jumpiness of the responses (moving to different excel cells, opening multiple new message windows and etc.) Have tried a full reset ( very frustrating as I must reinstall
multiple programs). Still to no avail. Any suggestions?

    Hi Katherine,

We need to clarify some information for us to better assist you on your concern about jumpy cursor, and losing sentences and paragraphs. Kindly answer these questions:

    • When exactly did the issues start?
    • Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
    • Are you using a laptop or a desktop?
    • If you're using laptop, does the issue occur when using an external mouse and keyboard? If you're using a desktop, is your computer working properly when you use a different mouse and keyboard?
