    Cursor won't stop freezing/lagging in Windows 10


    My cursor won't stop glitching in Windows 10 Version 1903. My laptop is an HP Pavilion Gaming 15 series (https://support.hp.com/us-en/driver...g-15-cx0000-laptop-pc/20284020/model/22909994). It just started today. Occasionally, I'll just be using my mouse (with the touchpad, not an external mouse) and the cursor will freeze on the screen. For a period of 10-20 seconds, it will lag extremely and even click on its own. I've tried a few YouTube and online tutorials, but none have worked.


    I am completely up to date. No system updates and latest version of 1903. I also went into Device Manager to make sure I have the latest touchpad drivers, which I do. I don't know what else to try and it gets really frustrating when my cursor randomly stops working.


    Please let me know what I can do to fix this issue so my cursor will work normally again. Thank you.

    Mouse cursor lag and slow down occasionally

    Recently, I am encountering a mouse cursor lag problem on my PC (Win10)

    The cursor occassionally lags when I move the mouse consistently

    In the demonstration, I moved my mouse consistently towards right, but cursor stops moving at few instances

    My mouse is Logitech G502, I believe my mouse has no problem because I tried it with my laptop (Win10) and it worked perfectly fine, the cursor never lagged and movement is consistent.

    Any suggestions?

    Cursor freezes

    I changed the appearance of the cursor in windows 10. Since then the cursor freezes after 3-4 seconds of inactivity. I have to click either of the two buttons to unlock it. How get it to stop freezing?

    Cursor lag

    I recently updated my Windows 10 PC with a few security updates etc., but I noticed after I had done so I was experiencing a few problems. My settings changed for my games (downloaded from steam) but the main problem was my mouse pointer/cursor lagging
    and jumping. It would freeze every 3 seconds or so for about a second when you moved it, freezing the whole screen with it sometimes. I eventually found a solution in turning on mouse pointer shadows, but it still lags in games etc. where you cant turn on
    mouse shadows. I have no idea how to solve this for the whole PC, please help?
