    I got a d link dwa 140 usb, i installed the drivers correctly, it tells me i'm connected but if i browse the internet it doesn't work, and the diagnosis says it's all right, i don't get it

    Hi Wally,

    As you are facing issue with connecting D-Link adapter, I suggest you to follow the methods provided below and check if it helps.

    Method 1: Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

    • Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press Enter
    • Click on View All in the left navigation pane.
    • A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

    Method 2: Install the drivers in compatibility mode.

    I suggest you to download the drivers from the manufacturer website and install it in compatibility mode from the steps provided below:

    • Download the setup files for the driver and save it on your local disk.
    • Right click on the setup file of the driver and select
      “Properties”.
    • Select “Compatibility” Tab.
    • Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system (7/8/8.1) from the drop down list.
    • Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

    Hi,

    Based on the details you have provided us, it appears that there might be some corrupted contents on the said partition. We can also consider that this is caused by a virus.

    For us to check if a certain virus is hiding your files, kindly follow the steps below:

    • Type Command prompt in the search bar.
    • Type-in the following command:

      attrib -h -r -s /s /d D:\*.*
    • Press Enter to execute the command.

    If you think that there is nothing important stored in it, then we suggest that you reformat your D drive so that you can use the free space for important files.

    You can follow the steps below to start with the process:

    • Click on the File Explorer.
    • Select This PC.
    • Right-click on your D drive, then click on Format.
    • Follow the on-screen process to finish formatting the partition.

    D-Link DWA-182 BSOD Windows 10

    If you want to install D-LINK DWA-182 WI-FI USB Adapter driver, I suggest you to install it in compatibility mode and see if it helps.

    To install the driver in compatibility mode, follow the steps below:

    • Right click on the setup file of the driver and select
