Windows 10: Daily BSOD's Win 10 Version 1909 OS Build 18363.476

Been struggling for the last month trying to diagnose what specifically is causing the crash. Always the same symptom....OS will freeze for about 30 seconds then BSOD after kernel timeout. Happens most day's so any crash logs from 11/20-12/2 (today) should accurately reflect the current issue.

windows Pro 10. Version 1909. Says installed 14/11/2019 ???? Which is different.

On start do not have 'admin' but have Windows Powershell (admin)

 

The Windows 1909 SAC final release #18363 build-418 issue

Hi ,

We use latest windows image to perform integrate our code with the OS .

We have been using Windows 1909 SAC release builds.

Microsoft released Windows 1909 SAC final release #18363 build 418 , seeing issue in the image.

The running dism.exe found in sources folder of image, shows windows version as 10.0.18362.1

The "ver" command in CMD, shows windows version as 10.0.18362.418

The "msinfo32" command after OS install using ISO file, shows version as 10.0.18363

Only this particular build is behaving like this.

is it a bug??

 

How to get the Windows 10 November 2019 Update version 1909

1909 and 1903 share the same cumulative updates. Any optional cumulative updates should disappear from that list as soon as a more recent CU replaces them. As you are now on 1909 I would expect Winver to say you are on build 18363.476, which is KB4524570, the CU issued this Patch Tuesday.

There are no optional updates newer than this, so none should be offered to you in windows update. If you are still seeing one, then I would run the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix any issues.
