    On 5/21/20 I downloaded and installed the 2020-01 Update Windows 10 version 1909 for x64 based Systems K84497165 update on my HP Envy Laptop computer running Windows 10-64 with McAfee virus protection. I'm not exactly sure what that update destroyed in my computer but when it opened after a restart, I was faced with a computer thatappeared to have been "reset to factory setting".

    Although I was able to locate my "Documents" and "Pictures" [Windows C:>Users>"my profile name"] and back them up to an external hard drive - I have lost access to my Office Home and Business stand alone programs not Office 365 - and my Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 has recorded a "crash report". I also noticed that the update seemed to have deleted my access to Google Chrome and the computer fought my reopening it. I don't know all the damage this update has caused as my computer fights my looking into it and I'm concentrating on trying to find a solution rather than checking random programs.

    1. How can I restore my computer
    2. And restore my Outlook including all my contacts, calendar & notes - and restore automatic coordination with my Comcast email.


    I should mention that I'm elderly and not computer literate so would appreciate extremely specific instructions if at all possible.

    The last Security Quality Roll-up Update @ NET Framework + Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Win 7.

    Hold off on installing as it seems to be causing issues with some flavors of windows 7.

    The rest has been explained as it relates to different time zones.
