    Database error logged to events several times a day


    Description: FCB::Open failed: Could not open file C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.SQLEXPRESS\MSSQL\DATA\People_Gifts_Data.mdf for file number 1. OS error: 2(The system cannot find the file specified.).

    Description: BACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE People_Gifts. Check the backup application log for detailed messages.

    This is followed by a bunch of similar events with the same timestamp all related to backup failure. I cannot find any reference to People_Gifts_Data anywhere on my computer, and I certainly never created or used and DB with that name.

    Any suggestions would be wonderful.

    Errors found daily in my application event log.

    Hi. Have had this error in the application event log for some time. And another error which relates to the same database. How can I correct it??

    svchost (4996) Database C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Comms\UnistoreDB\store.vol: Index 00000002 of table FolderMetadata is corrupted (0).
