Windows 10: DCOM 10016 error while playing games

I've been looking for an answer to this DCOM Error


The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}
and APPID
{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}

to the user DESKTOP-xxx\xxx SID (S-1-5-21-1236597804-xxx3421644-xxx1210-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.


This will only occur when im playing counter strike global offensive and will automatically shut down my pc. It is very frustrating as i need to reconnect and finish my game or else i will be banned for few hours. After digging and doing alot of registry tweaks, reinstall windows, this and that i finally come out with my own solution. I've granted all the administrators full control and it is still not working.


So this is what i did





I changed the appidflags default value from 258 or 600 which is 10 minutes to 25800. In this case my computer down shut down by itself every 10 minutes when playing csgo.


What u need to do is to go DCOMCNFG and find the first Runtimebroker and find its ID > regedit and search for the ID


then you start to change the value. I hope it helps even though it is not a real fix. i've just changed this less than 60 minutes and my pc doenst even shut down by itself anymore. But i do get alot of errors on event viewer. Somehow this fix is only to make me able to play without my pc f&&&&&g me up.



I'll keep monitoring this but i think this is the first time in a few months that my pc didnt auto shut down by itself every 10 minutes so i guess it worked for me.

Playing any game. Getting Dcom error 10016

The odds are that you're probably correct. I'm willing to bet that his error; like all the other millions of users that get DCOM errors, is being generated because random segments of code left behind dead entries in the registry.


I have a list of dead entries that I have deleted from the registry that have left no ill effects and that is why I was asking for his Guid alphanumeric code. You would be surprised how many dead entries I have deleted from the registry and still have a flawlessly functioning computer.

DCOM error 10016 on shutdown

Is this procedure supposed to resolve the DCOM 10016 errors or the Service Control Manager 7031 errors? The recent MS updates have apparently solved the DCOM 10016 errors I was getting for "Runtime Broker." Now they only happen for Cortana.

It is actually the SCM 7031 errors that I would like to eliminate now.

 

DCOM error 10016 on shutdown

I had been getting the DCOM error 10016 on shutdown immediately followed by 4 SCM 7031 errors for quite some time until the MS August 10 updates were installed. I am still getting the SCM 7031 errors but the DCOM 10016 errors have stopped. Has anyone
else had this experience? I am running Win 10 Version 1511 on a desktop.
