Windows 10: DCOM error that causes pc to crash 10016

Hey guys,I've been getting this error that crashes my pc. Every time it crashes, it's always the same error in event viewer.Event ID: 10016The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54} and APPID {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402} to the user APOLLO\croct SID S-1-5-21-3628877166-148414579-3314316799-1003 from address LocalHost Using LRPC running in the application container Unavailable SID Unavailable. This security permission can be modified using the Component

Event error 10016, causes pc to crash and reboot

Hi,

Event ID 10016 means a program, the Clsid displayed in the message, tried to start the DCOM server by using the DCOM infrastructure. Based on the security ID (SID), this user does not have the necessary permissions to start the DCOM server.

DCOM error 10016 on shutdown

Is this procedure supposed to resolve the DCOM 10016 errors or the Service Control Manager 7031 errors? The recent MS updates have apparently solved the DCOM 10016 errors I was getting for "Runtime Broker." Now they only happen for Cortana.

It is actually the SCM 7031 errors that I would like to eliminate now.

Well, I am bumfuzzled! I went in to my Event Viewer to take a look before applying the process referenced by Qwinn to fix the 10016 Dcom errors. There were no new ones, so I rebooted several times and still no 10016 Dcom errors! I don't know why, but I'm glad they are gone. Thanks to Qwinn and I will save your reference for future use, if needed.
