  1. DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION happening everyday

I'm constantly getting DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION everyday. The crash dump says it's probably caused by nvlddmkm. I've removed my Nvidia driver with DDU and did a clean install but it's still happening.

Here is the dump from the most recent crash.

  3. Dcp_watchdog_violation?

hi there to anyone that sees this, I have been having some really annoying and frustrating problems with my PC lately. My PC keeps crashing an coming up with the blue screen of death saying DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION which I did my homework and went and tried most of the logical youtube videos on where they went into device manager, power option and so on but nothing has fixed mine. What is different about my PC crashing is I will be mid way through a game using my 2tb hdd and once my pc crashes it will restart but then my 2tb hdd will be missing and I have no clue on how to fix this. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions please say otherwise I will have to pay to get fixed.
P.S my system still runs because all my games and junk are stored on the hdd and my OS is on my ssd.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

  5. Hi (Rongduan Zhu),

I'm also having this DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION almost everyday.
I compared my dump with yours. And it is almost the same.

    As for the hardware: You have a Z170, I have a H170.
    Intel Core i5-6600 6the Gen. CPU is the same (CPU_MICROCODE: 6,5e,3,0 (F,M,S,R) SIG: C2'00000000 (cache) C2'00000000 (init))

Arg1: 0000000000000001, The system cumulatively spent an extended period of time at
DISPATCH_LEVEL or above. The offending component can usually be
    identified with a stack trace.
    Arg2: 0000000000001e00, The watchdog period.
    Arg3: fffff802a245d378, cast to nt!DPC_WATCHDOG_GLOBAL_TRIAGE_BLOCK, which contains
additional information regarding the cumulative timeout
    Arg4: 0000000000000000

    Same FAULT_INSTR_CODE: ab3944cc

For your information. I had this BSOD on my nVidia MSI 970.
Last week replaced this videocard with the new MSI 1070 Ti and still having BSOD DPC!
So, it is not the videocard hardware that was the issue. Powersupply is 650W.
    I'm running Windows 10 1803 (17134.345) on Samsung EVO 850 SSD.

but ... after everything still no solution....

  6. a solution was found with the tool: MSI_util_v2.exe
    CHEF-KOCH/MSI-utility

    1. Download the MSI Utility v2.0 zip file
    2. Open the zip file and then extract "MSI_util_v2.exe" to your local system.
    3. Right-click the "MSI_util_v2.exe" and Run as administrator.
    4. Enable MSI for each GPU listed.
    5. Restart the system.
