Windows 10: DD player app

Discus and support DD player app in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; The DVD app, while never great, had worked ok but now when I launch it it fails while trying to open.     The DVD app, while never great, had worked ok but now when I launch it it fails while trying to open. I have tried several times, rebooted my computer and tried again. It still won't successfully launch.

    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

    DD player app

    Format of date - DD MM YYYY

    Well actually it was only there in the Regional settings list as DD/MMM/YYYY format which gave months in the JAN/FEB etc format.

    If you want the DD/MM/YYYY form you have to hand edit the option to DD/MM/YYYY format and it seems to work for all programs.
