Windows 10: Deactivation of Windows 11 antivirus

Hello, I installed Windows 11 Pro today. I want to open a file in Windows or launch a game that requires the antivirus to be disabled. I disable the Windows antivirus, but the files are detected and closed automatically. I even permanently disabled the antivirus from the group policy, but the files are detected and closed automatically. I did all the Windows updates and now this is my problem. My previous Windows was 11, but I changed it again. I did and this new Windows has this problem. What should I do to disable the antivirus? Windows has been downloaded, it is the VL version. Good Antivirus + Firewall

I would never put anything Norton on my computer.

Nod32 is arguably the best antivirus. AVG is likely not as good, but it's free and at least pretty good.

Firewalls, I'd put Comodo and whatever "Tiny Personal Firewall" is named nowadays on your short list. I think Kerio might have sold it now and it's named something else. Otherwise, just put Comodo on your short list. I think the current version's ease of use has taken a step backwards, seems a bit counter-intuitive when trying to do certain things with it, but overall it does a good job and the price is right.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
