Windows 10: deal with microsoft store code 0x80070422 without updating?

I have tried to download "Xbox Accessories" from the microsoft store, as my xbox controller has been acting up and some buttons do weird things, but it says I have updates disabled I have updates disabled because I have lots of settings changed that microsoft seems to love messing with every update. it doesn't have any other issue then my computer not being updated.

Hello, I have a problem with Microsoft Store. When i try to download any application it says you need to enable Windows Update, it gives the code: 0x80070422.But the problem is that i have already enabled the Windows Update

windows 10 update error code 0x80070422

I am having the same issue with win 10. I have done all these steps and am still getting error code0x80070422) when I check for updates and using the store.

When I tried to run net start wuauserv I get error 1058 as well.

Any help not mentioned above would be appreciated.
