Windows 10: Dear MS, my ears wtf

If I am

1) Connecting bluetooth headphones to this up to date Win10 PC

2) And having to troubleshoot them for any reason, leading to

3) Settings -> Sounds -> Device -> (Right Click) Test (To make sure they're working. After the troubleshooting).

Then here's what happens. The Almighty himself rings a bell akin to the cacophony heard by unfortunate neighbor islands of Krakatoa. My ears still ache 30 minutes post-trauma. Yes this is independent of my (functional) master volume. So why is this test tone not dependent on one's system volume? At least then when this shit blows an ear drum, there was some Darwin at play. But there's no excuse for this shit in an OS 25 years in the making. These are MS drivers, on a staple mobo with no audiofu installed to muck it up.

I'm still pissed cause PTSD is a thing. Please fix it guys, or point out why I'm a nuoce for missing the obvious reason for this shite (mis)behavior.

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Ear phone. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

I suggest you to update all the drivers from the manufacturer web site and install and check if it helps

7373 "no devices found"(ear piece)

Hi,

I have a motorola ear piece which i've used without any problem on a couple of nokia phones.

Got the 7373 yesterday, and it won't pick it up. followed the steps in the booklet, but keep getting the message "no devices found" even though the ear piece is on and beside it.

Any suggestions?
