    For failed upgrade attempts this is a troubleshooting step that has fixed many upgrade failures:

    replace: C:\Windows10Upgrade\wimgapi.dll
    with: C:\Windows\System32\wimgapi.dll

    Will the Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File) still work for Windows 7 or 8.x users to upgrade to Windows 10 for free using a ISO tool in 2018 like it does today?

    All types of free upgrades to Windows 10 from 7, 8.1 ends Dec. 31, 2017.
