Windows 10: Decrease the amount of RAM used as Shared GPU Memory in Windows 10

I have 32Gb RAM on my PC but it looks like only 16Gb is utilized, regardless if I even run Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Death Stranding simultaneously. At the same time in Advanced Display Settings, there are 16Gb memory allocated as Shared System Memory which I'm not sure are ever used. So how to decrease this amount and RAM back available to use?

I'm in contact with Windows developers since 1995 - as a one of the best beta-testers till 2009 when program was closed, as an MVP in 2005-2017

including Windows System & Performance nomination and as Windows TAP member now. So I have deep enough Windows knowledge and you may trust me.

Shared video memory is not used during normal operation. This phrase means videodriver may use main memory if video memory is insufficient. This function was introduces many years ago/ It is still supported but not useful because GPU accesses shared memory
at least 10 times slower than dedicated memory. So such usage significantly decrease video performance and video drivers strive never use shared memory. And this memory is not reserved. During normal operation system has full access to it.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5930K CPU @ 3.50GHz

RAM: 64GB

Graphics: NVidia GeForce GTX 1080

Dedicated Video Memory: 8GB

System Video Memory: 0

Shared Video Memory: 31GB

Is there a way to change how much RAM windows 10 allocates as shared video memory? Specifically, I'd like to change it from 31GB to 8GB or 0GB.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5930K does not have integrated HD Graphics on Chip, so the only graphics you have is the GTX 1080, and that has plenty of on chip memory

While Windows will allocate RAM as shared video memory, should your PC applications ever require more RAM, Windows will free up the needed RAM, this is done dynamically by your OS, so the amount initially set by Windows is arbitrary and will change as needed

Are you experiencing difficulty due to lack or RAM on your system, you have 64GB, which is a vast amount and you should never run out of memory, regardless of the number of size of the applications you have running . . .
