Windows 10: Default Admin Suddenly Needs Password

    Default Admin Suddenly Needs Password


    I can’t even run cmd as admin because I require a nonexistent password. This all happened after I net user administrator /active:no in cmd to disable and hide the default/hidden admin account. I immediately restarted my pc after that and saw that the default admin account is still in my users the one you see when you start your pc so I tried to disable it again but I couldn’t even do that because I suddenly needed a password when I tried to run cmd as admin. I didn’t require a password before and I just clicked yes and it would run. I can’t even make a new user account because I need the admin pw. Before that I was trying to sync my windows account with my new user account but wouldn’t accept my password that was correct so I gave up. My user acc is local. I can’t even make it an admin because I require a password that wasnt needed before to even change anything. I have looked up so many articles and videos but none of them had the same issue as mine. I needed the default admin account to rename the previous user acc to no avail and just created a new user instead. I also got like 5 corrupted user accounts before the current one before realizing they were corrupted because I messed with the regedit to rename the original user name.

    You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

    ok changed added admin password for d in safe mode!
    Ok, now this is weird: XP repair will not accept my new password! WTF?
