Discus and support Defer Feature and Quality Update Setting Missing from Advanced Options AGAIN in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Well it's back. I did upgrade to the May 2020 feature update 2004 for a short time and when I saw that this happened I rolled back to version 1909....     Defer Feature and Quality Update Setting Missing from Advanced Options AGAIN


    Well it's back. I did upgrade to the May 2020 feature update 2004 for a short time and when I saw that this happened I rolled back to version 1909. The reason I upgraded to the Pro Edition of Windows 10 back in 2018 was so I can possibly avoid a "bad" update. I hope someone from Microsoft preferably an employee find out how this happened and possibly issue a fix, or at least let us know if the deferral options are changing or not.

    Hi Shawn,

    The options to defer updates are missing in Advanced Options for my system. This issue has been discussed some in the 16299.98 thread but so far a solution has not been found. I had checked the registry settings listed above and they match what you show. I have some registry tweaks and I have the managed by organization message but I have removed all tweaks and restarted the system and the defer updates options are still missing. I am also on RP if that makes any difference. I have not done a repair install. Any idea why they have gone missing?
