Windows 10: Delete a WinRar file 0x800700E1

So today when I opened a WinRAR file to see if it important so i can clean up my capacity, but surprisingly when I tried to open it window detect it and says its an Trojan:Win32/Coinminer .I was freaking out that time and know its a bitcoin miner, so I tried to delete the WinRAR file that contain it but I received a 0x800700E1 error. So can someone please help me to delete this WinRAR thank you .*I'm so scared, by the time I'm writing this, I cant find the WinRAR anymore it vanished I checked the bin but cant find it please help me !

same problem, I was able to delete the file from(within) winrar

Do you have WinRAR installed on your PC?

If so: right click a RAR, choose 'Open With' - Choose Another App

Important - Check the box marked 'Always use this app to open rar . . .'

If WinRAR is not in the list, scroll to the bottom and click 'More Apps'

Again if WinRAR is not in the list, at the bottom, click 'Look for another app on this PC', then navigate to find the WinRAR executable . . .

 

I can't delete winrar, says file is open in another program, causing virus (I think)

Yes WinRar is commonly wrapped in unwanted programs if installed from a non-official website

Your best option is to manually delete the WinRar folder - C:\Program Files\WinRAR

Then go into Control Panel - Programs and Features and try to uninstall it again - it will then be removed form the list of installed apps . . .
