    Hello , i have an issue this the storage pool system i used to have a storage pool with my 2 hdd and SSD together I deleted that before I formatted and deleted the the storage pool tryring to create a new storage pool i keep getting cant prepare drives Close all application and i don't have a lot of the apps running after that i went to the PowerShell and typed Get-storagepool i got a primodial pool i really need some help checked online they said tryChkdsk X: /r /x i have no idea it dose thanks in advance

    create storage pool

    I had a USB storage device that became damaged and unserviceable attached to my laptop I had a storage pool with this storage device . I deleted the storage device and did the necessary steps that i know to unattached the device from the memory. I plugged
    in a new storage device and tried to create a new storage pool. I keep getting the error r unable to create because it is being used by other apps.

    I need help. I'm not sure how does the storage pool works. Will my external drive be formatted? Will I lose everything in it?

    When I connect my hard drives this is what it shows:

    FORMATTED DRIVES

    -The following drives might contain files. If you use a formatted drive with a storage pool, Windows permanently deletes all the files on that drive. You can't recover the files by using the Recycle Bin.

    before I posted this query. Maybe I still don't understand how this Storage Pool works. I do understand what you are saying about
    C: Drive. But CDeleted a storage pool cant create a new storage pool after format :Drive also holds the "Library" files. These are the files I wish to delete on
    CDeleted a storage pool cant create a new storage pool after format :Drive to free up space because they are now on the Storage Pool drives. The 2 extra Storage Pool drives are internal HD's in my tower. If this is the way the Storage Pool works, then I'd rather not have the Storage Pool and I'll just backup
    my Library Files (pictures, videos, music, documents) on my internal HDs. Is there a way to reverse the Storage Pool I just created?
