Windows 10: Deleted some files from WinSxS

Hello , by mistake I have deleted those folders please help me

C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_netfx4-browser_files_b03f5f7f11d50a3a_4.0.15788.0_none_030e6fac24eb4365 1 folder


C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Config\Browsers I have deleted the browsers folder only


C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Config\Browser I have deleted the browsers folder only


all the folders that I have deleted have same files they have 12 files called like that


Blackberry.browser

Default.browser

gateway.browser

chrome.browser

Mozilla.browser

generic.browser

ie.browser

iemobile.browser

iphone.browser

opera.browser

safari.browser

ucbrowser.browser

please tell me what those files do ? and its is okay being deleted from my pc ? or maybe will do damage to my system ?

and how I get them back if will do damage ?

winsxs in vista

the Vsp1cln.exe command is not going delete all of the winsxs folder, just the SP1 installtion folder(s)

 

Deleting WinSxS files and other system files when disk cleanup does not.

Have a small hard drive 98GB - of which 66GB is in the Windows Folder and about 9GB in the WinSxS subfolder, I only have 2 GB available on the drive. Have run disk cleanup including option for the system files. Disk clean up runs but does not deal with the
system files nor gives any indication of why the files are not removed. I have explored manually deleting the files WinSxS files but have not wanted to do that without knowing the impact, I understand that problems can be caused by manually deleting the files.
I am running windows 8.1. Any suggestions on how to proceed with freeing up the disk space, where else might I look in the windows folder to remove unnecessary files?

Reduce the size of the WinSxS folder

Hi Adrian,

Open File Explorer

Click on your hard drive

On the Manage Tab, click Cleanup

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete

Start Disk Cleanup again

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

This time in the resulting dialog, click 'Cleanup System Files'

Let Disk Cleanup run another scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete
