Windows 10: Deleted user account name appears on login screen

When starting my PC the user account name from a deleted user account appears as the default login account.

This user account does not appear when looking at the manage user account screens as it was deleted by the account holder (the former owner of the PC).

How do I stop this deleted user account name appearing at login?

2 Logins same account

Just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Did a fresh install and deleted everything. The problem now is that when I get to login screen, I have the same icon and name for two different logins. Just want to use my main Microsoft login. When I check under
user accounts only one is listed. One allows me to set pin but the other appears to want a name and password, but both have my Microsoft account picture.

 

Windows 10 Local account instantly logging out

I recently upgraded from windows 8.1 to 10.

Under 8.1 I had two windows accounts and one local account on the machine. After the upgrade I deleted the local account and then attempted to create a new local account (Different user name). The local account appears to be created successfully, but I am
not able to login to the account.

I click on the account icon, I enter the password, it appears to accept the password, but then it instantly says "Signing Out" and dumps me back to the login screen.
