Windows 10: Deleting folders from File Explorer

Discus and support Deleting folders from File Explorer in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Hello, the option to delete folders in My Docs appears to have disappeared.     Deleting folders from File Explorer


    Hello, the option to delete folders in My Docs appears to have disappeared. Anybody have any clues? Thank you.

    Trouble deleting a folder

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

    *Confused Deleting folders from File Explorer :confused:

    Will I be forever stuck with these unnecessary folders? *Oh Well Deleting folders from File Explorer :eek:hwell:

    Can't delete folder!

    In an explorer window, goto Tools...folder options...view...hidden files and folders

    Deleting folders from File Explorer

    Delete a file folder.

    In such cases it is often possible to use this 3-step process:

    1. Move the folder to C:\
    2. Reboot
    3. Delete the folder
